Five Tips to Survive When Your Kids Get Sick + {GIVEAWAY}

Disclosure: Pfizer Consumer Healthcare provided me products for review. All opinions are my own.

My heart breaks when my kids are sick. They are miserable
and sometimes I feel helpless because I can't just kiss it and make
them feel better. Over the years I've learned a few tricks to help make
life easier for myself (and the kids) when they are sick and hopefully help
them to be a little bit more comfortable until we can fight off the sickies and
I'm sharing my tips with you. Be sure to read to the end so you can enter the
giveaway for a bundle of Pfizer Pediatric products that will help your Littles
when sick gets real for your family.

TIP #1 GET THE BUCKET
Or in our case, the bowl! But it's always a good idea to have a bucket
that is designated for when one of the kids are sick. And my rule is,
wherever you go, the bucket goes with you. That way it is always close by
if something goes wrong. My friend uses an old 5 gallon ice cream bucket,
we have a dollar store bowl, it doesn't matter what it is, just keep it handy!

TIP #2 SHEETS AND TOWELS
I generally move the kids out of their bedroom and out onto the couch
when they are sick. This way, I can keep an eye on them and minimize the damage.
I also cover everything in a 10 foot radius around them in either a sheet or large
towel. This makes clean up a breeze.

TIP #3 GRAB THE DRINKS
One of my first trips when the sickies hit, is to the store for drinks.
When my kids are sick, they don't usually feel like eating much, but
I want them to stay hydrated, so I buy their favorite non-carbonated sports
drinks. Put them in a spill-proof water bottle and you're golden.

TIP #4 BOOKS AND MOVIES
Sick days are good days for catching up on favorite books and movies.
I try to alternate between the two, so that they don't get too zombie-like.
It's also fun to try new books and movies to shake things up and
try to make the best of a stinky situation.

TIP #5 STOCK UP ON THE GOOD STUFF
And by the good stuff, I mean Pfizer Pediatric products that will
