2016 CHOC Walk Presented by Disneyland Resort + {GIVEAWAY} #CHOCWalk

Have you ever been inside the Disneyland Park before the day starts and the hustle and
bustle of the crowds takes over? I have and it was magical!
The 2016 CHOC Walk is back for its 26th year at the Disneyland Resort and will give
participants the opportunity to walk throughout the Disneyland Resort and experience
the magic while raising money for CHOC Children's Hospital.
If you'd like to take part in the magic of CHOC Children's Hospital's annual 5K walk
throughout the Disneyland Resort, then keep reading because I'm giving away a pair
of admission tickets to this year's SPOOKTACULAR CHOC Walk event on
Sunday, October 30th!!!!!

Walt Disney supported CHOC from the beginning - and was even on the hospital's
first board of directors over 50 years ago. CHOC Walk participants have the
opportunity to carry on Walt's passion in supporting the health and wellness of of the
children in communities surrounding the Disneyland Resort. I've had the opportunity to
tour CHOC and learn about the hospital and all it offers to the children it serves.
I'm so impressed how it's grown from a regional hospital when it opened in 1964 to a
regional healthcare leader that treats patients from all over the United States
and around the world.

The CHOC Walk will welcome an estimated 14,000 walkers from across the U.S. and
around the world. Last year's walk raised more than $2.5 million dollars for the
hospital's KidsCare Fund. It provides funding to the programs and services in the
greatest need both at the hospital and in the community - from mental health services to
an expanded neonatal intensive care unit to care for children and families who can't
afford to pay. We've never had to use CHOC as a family, but I have many friends that
have needed the specialized pediatric services that it offers to Southern California kids.
I'm so grateful it's here if and when we need it - especially the region's only pediatric
emergency department with a Level II pediatric-focused trauma center.

If you're a Disney-loving family, you are going to love the great Disneyland Resort
perks connected with participating in the CHOC Walk.

(1) Participants that raise between $375 and $599 earn one 1-Day Disneyland Resort
Park Hopper Tickets.

(2) Participants that raise $600 or more earn two 1-Day Disneyland Resort

My son was 3 months early and spent 62 long days in the NICU. I love supporting children's hospitals in anyway I can because of the support they gave me and my family.

I participated in the Chalk walk about 2 years ago. Besides the walk being fun and great vibes all around, it made me feel good to know that I had helped even if it was not a huge amount. Small amounts from each of us can make a big difference in someone's life. I am glad to have participated and would definitely love to do it again!
