Winter Fun Returns at Winter Fest OC 2017 || #GIVEAWAY

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post brought to you by Gigasavvy. All opinions are my own.

Every year about this time I long for the winter activities I grew up enjoying as a kid in the Midwest. So I am always looking for ways to bring a little bit of that holiday magic here to my life in sunny Southern California. One tradition that we've come to enjoy as a family is Winter Fest at the OC Fairgrounds! It  is back for the 2017 holiday season and the forecast calls for 18 days of winter fun in the OC. I'm excited that winter fun is only 10 minutes away! I'm talking tubing, ice skating, and enjoying REAL SNOW!

Winter Fest is a giant wonderland of family fun and tickets start at only $10. Season passes are also available for all 18 days of Winter Fest. Every admission ticket includes:

  • Unlimited ice tubing down Snowflake Summit’s 150-foot, 8 lane mountain of ice
  • Snow Play area with real snow blown in daily – expanded this year!
  • Festival of Lights two-million-light stroll-through holiday displays – 7 new lands!
  • Nightly tree lighting celebration with parade of Winter Fest characters, snow flurries, fireworks and flying Santa and his Reindeer until he returns to the North Pole
  • Winter Fest themed bounce houses and slides for kids
  • The world’s largest walk-through ornament and rocking horse
  • Craft making and games in Santa’s workshop
  • Daily entertainment including live bands, magic from Jimmy H, and strolling carolers
  • Character live shows and meet and greets from popular cartoons such as Thomas the Train, Sid the Science Kid, PJ Masks, and Buddy from Dinosaur Train
  • Little Elves (Toddler) play area
  • Santa’s petting zoo
  • Arcade games
  • Snowboard Simulator

Additional attractions with a fee include:
  • Ice Skating on a full outdoor rink
  • Candy Cane carnival with more than 30 rides, attractions and games
  • Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus in their cabin

I am so excited about the return of the Festival of Lights display! You will stroll down a pathway illuminated with 2 million lights and explore holiday themed lands. I always love a good Christmas lights display, so this is very exciting! My kids can't wait to bundle up and get their hands on the real snow in the new Snow Play area especially since it is expanded this year!

Winter Fest 2017 blows in Orange County December 21st thru January 7th. Tickets can be purchased at https://winterfestoc.com/tickets/ as well as finding all the information on hours of operation.

Kids under 3 are free and parking on-site is $8.
Season passes are available in limited quantity.

There are also private, ice-rink side cabanas available that start at only $69 per session. They would be perfect for holiday office parties, birthday parties, or family reunions. Each cabana can accommodate up to 10 people and multiple cabanas can be linked to fit parties of up to 100 guests.
