If you want your son's last pinewood derby of his Cub Scout
career to be
totally memorable,
then drive off with it on the roof of your car to go
to swim practice,
and then have it fall to the road about a mile later,
and get smashed by who knows how many cars before you realize an hour
later,
after swim practice, when you're on your way to the Pinewood
Derby,
that you don't have it and drive through Irvine to try and find
it,
and when you find it, all the wheels are smashed to smithereens,
it
has a serious case of road rash and you want to vomit.
Maybe do that,
mmmkay?

Sorry about your son's pinewood derby car. That made me laugh just a tiny bit, but mostly made me want to cry. I hope he was okay. :(
