Dark Harbor Returns to Haunt The Queen Mary {2016}

Disclosure: I was invited as media to preview Dark Harbor. All opinions are my own.

Dark Harbor at the Queen Mary is back for 2016 with the Iron Master and his all
new maze - Intrepid! Now through October 31st the Ringmaster, Iron Master, and
the other ghouls and monsters will be ready to frighten and entertain those who dare to
find out what fear lives at the Queen Mary's Dark Harbor.
One of the things I love most about Dark Harbor is that it takes place on and around
the Queen Mary - which is actually haunted!!!

The Ringmaster is back again and is one of my favorite Dark Harbor monsters.
He and his circus of lost souls will haunt your nightmares if you're brave enough
to visit the Circus and wander through the terrifying tent of terror.

Beware The Captain if you choose to enter Deadrise.
The wreckage of Deadrise has again been enlisted by The Captain to escort he
and his ghosts into a battle against the living to reclaim Dark Harbor!

This year, the returning mazes Deadrise, Circus, Soulmate, B340 and Lullaby
are joined by three new experiences - Intrepid Maze, Panic 4-D Virtual Maze
experience, and Hex Paintball shooting gallery.

My husband and I tried out the mazes and cautiously explored Slider Alley and
Monster Midway, but beware what is hiding in the fog. If you loathe waiting in line,
be sure to check into VIP admission, which will give you a Fast Fright Pass (cut-in-line!)
and admission to the RIP Lounge.

You won't want to miss the Sideshow where you can step backstage and rub
elbows with the resident freaks. You can also rent the Creepy Cabanas to gain
instant access to the Sideshow and Sinister Swings. In the R.I.P. Lounge you get a
ghost-eye VIP view that comes with an all-you-can-eat taco bar. The carne asada
was delicious! And on the Mainstage the DJ spins his monstrous music in between
a variety of nightly shows.
