The Five Best Things about Discovery Cube OC's Bubblefest #BubblefestOC

Disclosure: I received complimentary admission to the event. No further compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you are lucky enough to still be on Spring Break, then drop everything and
head over to the Discovery Cube Orange County for Bubblefest!!
Are you ready?! We are so excited!
The show is in it's 21st year at the Discovery Cube OC, and I can promise you
that this year it is still just as awesome - if not even cooler - than when it
started over twenty years ago.
The bubble-tastic exhibit will be at the Discovery Cube OC now through
April 16th, so you want to make sure you get there ASAP!

Let me highlight THE FIVE BEST THINGS ABOUT BUBBLEFEST and
why we think they are the coolest!

FIVE BEST THINGS ABOUT BUBBLEFEST XXI

{1} THE GIANT WATER SPHERES

My kids' favorite thing at the Bubblefest is always the giant water spheres
where they can climb into a giant "bubble" and float around on the water.
I love watching them because it is hilarious!!!
In addition to the Bubble Rollers there are also inflatable play areas (one
for big kids and one for little kids) that are also a big it!

{2} TODDLER PLAY AREA

The interactive bubble-based science zones for families to explore and learn
together are a lot of fun, but sometimes they are too big for the little ones. So,
I'm glad that the Discovery Cube OC made a special spot for the 5 and under
crowd to play and explore. Grace loved that she could reach the bubble exhibits
in this area and didn't have to fight for turf against the big kids.

{3} BUBBLE COURTYARD
Who wants to make their own giant bubbles? OOOH! OOOH! Me! Me!
Then head out to the Bubble Courtyard and try your had at making giant bubbles
of your own. TIP! When you're getting bubbles on your wand, twist the wand in
a circle, slowly, don't wiggle it. When you wiggle it, you create suds and that
keeps you from making BIG BUBBLES!

{4} ME IN A BUBBLE PHOTO OP

This is my picture of the picture of "Me in a Bubble" being taken, so it's not the
greatest. However, the cool one they print and put in an awesome Bubblefest
frame for you is super rad. The kids love the chance to be in a bubble and I love
the keepsake I get to take home and keep forever!

{5} MEGA BUBBLEFEST LASER SHOW

The pièce de résistance of Bubblefest is definitely the Mega Bubblefest
Laser Show. Seriously spectacular.
It features international bubble scientist Deni Yang.
The show uses high-tech lights and lasers and of course - lots and lots of
BUBBLES! Smoking bubbles, spinning bubbles, bouncing bubbles, bubbles
within bubbles, square bubbles - this show has it all!
It's amazing.

Bubblefest XXI at the Discovery Cube OC runs through April 16th.
There will be four shows daily and seats are limited!
The shows will sell out, so purchase your tickets online to guarantee your seat!

Are you ready?! We are so excited!
The annual bubble spectacular event - BUBBLEFEST - is back for spring break
This is the show's TWENTIETH anniversary in Orange County
at the Discovery Cube, and let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint.

This amazing bubble festival includes an inflatable play area, water spheres, and

I love the hands-on learning that takes place at an exhibit like this.
There is something for all ages and everyone will enjoy exploring the science
of bubbles, forming and testing a hypothesis, and just generally having a
great time together.

Both kids were excited for the chance to be a human bubble. JT has always
loved this part of Bubblefest, but Isabella tried it for the first time last year
and loved it! The water spheres experience is included with admission to Bubblefest.

The pièce de résistance of Bubblefest is definitely the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show.

Discovery Science Center: Bubblefest XVII

Disclosure: I received complimentary admission to the event. No further compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Woohoo!
The annual bubble spectacular event - Bubblefest - is back for spring break
This is the seventeenth year this amazing show has made an
appearance in Orange County at the Discovery Science Center,
and let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint.

This outdoor festival includes an inflatable play area, water spheres, and
interactive bubble-based science zones for families to explore
and learn together.

I love the hands-on learning that takes place at an exhibit like this.
For instance, in the picture below, as JT explored with this bubble wall,
he figured out that if he covered his hand in bubbles he was able to pass
his hand through without popping the bubble.
It was so cool to see him come to this conclusion through a
truly hands-on experience.

JT loved the water sphere and his chance at being a human bubble.
He's always wanted to try it out, so we were super excited that
it was included with admission to Bubblefest.

Isabella was a huge fan of making the giant bubbles .
She was pretty good at making the really long ones.
I loved the look of wonder and excitement on her face as she created each one.

The pièce de résistance of Bubblefest is definitely the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show.
Seriously spectacular.
It features international bubble scientist Deni Yang.
The show uses high-tech lights and lasers and of course -
lots and lots of BUBBLES!
Smoking bubbles, spinning bubbles, bouncing bubbles,
bubbles within bubbles, square bubbles - this show has it all!
It's amazing.
